Eberhard Green, Solar and Energy Efficient Installations
Eberhard can turn your roof space into an energy resource that allows you to personally catch the power of the sun and transform it into the power of your company. The installment of Solar Power systems is far from a fashionable trend but is a sustainable technological advancement. It has recently become more economical for businesses to integrate solar power to decrease energy consumption costs and dependence on the grid.
Seeing that solar modules can have more than 25 years of endurance, it is imperative that they are paired with high performance based roofing. Partnered with our extensive roofing knowledge, Eberhard has become committed to customizing, installing and servicing these solar projects.

Technology Selection
Eberhard will evaluate the growing solar market styles and other energy options that will simultaneously suit your personal goals, your building’s atmosphere, and your roof’s design. Additionally, HVAC, lighting, and windows are optimizing contributors to the construction communities mission to have an environmental impact and lower energy consumption.

Eberhard will provide complete energy evaluation and services for your building including: feasibility and financial studies, design and engineering, and roofing and construction integration. We will work with you to improve your roof’s purpose; where it no longer just houses your business but creates business.
FEATURED INSTALLATIONS

Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center
Several energy savings upgrades were installed
at this popular Community Center that hosts numerous
conventions, seminars and local public events. Eberhard
installed (740) racked PV solar panels on a new
insulated Cool Roof system, new HVAC air handlers, DDC
controls, domestic HW heaters, upgraded plumbing,
electrical, lighting, security and audio-visual systems.
Project Summary
- Installed 57,000 square
foot new white solar reflecting single ply roof
-
Designed and installed 178
kW photo-voltaic solar panel system
-
Replaced (4) central station
air handler HVAC units
-
Added Direct Digital
Controls for entire Center's operation
- Replaced parking lot and
pathway lighting with energy efficient LED
- Designed and installed
new HD digital reception hall audio-visual system
- Designed and installed new digital closed
circuit camera security system
- Installed
ned color LED marquee sign with remote programmable
graphics
- Replaced old domestic water
heaters with energy efficient tank-less type
-
Installed water saving motion detecting flush valves
in the restrooms

Cal State University of Northridge
As seen above, Eberhard recently installed this Cool Roofing system at Cal State University of Northridge. 184 student housing apartment units received new roofs, HVAC, domestic hot water, and electrical system upgrades. The lightweight, sustainable roofing membrane operates with easy maintenance. Its white color encourages solar reflectance which keeps the interiors cooler and thereby lowering the air conditioning needs of the buildings.
Project Summary
- Installed 582 squares of new energy efficient Cool Roofing
- Rebuilt existing roof equipment platforms
- Reclaimed and recycled R-22 refrigerant from inefficient split system A.C. units
- Installed high efficiency CFC-free heat pumps with fully programmable thermostats
- Replaced existing domestic hot water boilers with an array of highly efficient instantaneous tank-less water heaters

Prologis/SCE
Fast-paced and with multiple site locations, Prologis is known to be one of the largest solar projects in California. Eberhard teamed up with General and Electrical contractors to give Prologis a state-of-the-art solar roofing system. A 20 year warranty guarantees this powerful solar system long-term efficiency.
Project Summary
- Roof mounted solar energy system
- Project consisted of a roof protection membrane and tilted solar panel arrays to get maximum energy absorption
- Jobsite 1: Ontario, CA - Four buildings given 1,100,000 square feet of semi-ballasted solar systems with roof protection pads (7.58 Megawatts DC)
- Jobsite 2: Redlands, CA - Two buildings given 978,000 square feet of total ballasted solar system given roof protection pads (6.65 Megawatts DC)
- Jobsite 3: Rialto, CA - One building given 1,200,000 square feet of total ballasted solar systems with roof protection pads. (8.6 Megawatts DC)
