Neil Eberhard Retires; Mission Accomplished

IT'S NO SMALL ACCOMPLISHMENT to stay strong and prominent in the construction industry for over half a century. All in all, Neil Eberhard has put in just under 55 years at Eberhard. His integrity, determination and never-compromising hard work has served the company well...above and beyond the call of duty.

Remaining as the company CFO through 2007, Neil saw the company grow from a small San Fernando Valley track operation to a multi-state multi-million-dollar construction firm.

In 1997, Neil was the recipient of the prestigious Johnny Z Award, presented by the Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California in honor of his three-plus decades of service to the roofing industry. As a Director and member of the Board of Governors for the Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California, and long-time Trustee for the Union Labor/Management Trust, Neil helped guide the roofing business into the professional industry it is today.
 
With a succession plan in place for nearly 20 years, Neil has witnessed the dynamic growth of his family’s company, founded by his father, Emery Eberhard, in 1945.

And so it is...one wife, three daughters, five grandchildren and fifty years of roofing later...Neil has come full circle and is, at long last, happily and gracefully out of a job.
